Privacy Policy

This page describes the current Picvexa application. Last updated October 10, 2026.

Your images stay in your browser

Images selected or dropped into Picvexa are processed locally. The application does not send image files to a server. Originals, preview thumbnails, and results are held in page memory; the tools do not save your images in a database or browser storage.

Removing images and closing the page

Removing a file, clearing the queue, or closing the page releases the application’s references to those images. This is not a guarantee of secure memory erasure. Downloaded files are saved on your device and remain there until you delete them.

Website requests

Your browser requests the website’s HTML, styles, scripts, and icons. The HEIC decoder and ZIP library are loaded only when needed. The current application does not include advertising, analytics trackers, accounts, or application cookies. A hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses; that is separate from image processing.

Metadata and sensitive files

Picvexa does not offer verified metadata sanitization. Do not rely on conversion to remove private EXIF or other sensitive data. Keep your originals and review outputs before sharing them.
